WaterSafety Awareness Day
We want thank everyone who came out for Water Safety Awareness Day! We had a great turn out and we are proud to say we were able to really spread the word about Water Safety in our community. Congratulations to all Poster Winners and a huge thank you to all of our booths- Cajun Picasso, Balhoff Orthodontics, Krewe of Oberon, Acadiana Ambulance, Dr. Leslie Jacobs, the Firetruck, and LSU Swimming and Diving. Also, a BIG thank you to Barczyk Chiropractic for sponsoring the event and Chief Administrative Officer Mr. Dee Stanley for coming out to show his support!

COLA Swims Unbelievable at State Swim Meet

Congratulations COLA's state team on a job well done in and out of the pool! Not only did we place 6th overall, which is our high place team finish ever, but we also won the Spirit and Sportsmanship Award for the 3rd straight SC State in a row! We also had over 80% best times for the team. Way to go COLA!!!!!

COLA has Outstanding showing at District Championship Meet
Congratulations to the 39 COLA Swimmers who recently participated in the 2013 Short Course District Championships! We saw great racing, best times, terrific first time swims, and had a blast!

Awesome TAQ Mardi Gras Meet
Congratulations to all for a terrific TAQ Mardi Gras Meet. We had a lot of best times, great racing, had several swimmers making new State Qualifying Times and achieving new IMX scores, and COLA took home several of the high point awards!

COLA swimmers did an amazing job as they represented their area high school teams at the 2012 LHSAA High School State Championships. We saw a lot of best times from our swimmers as they represented their high school teams well!

Congratulations to COLA Swimmers on a
Great Turkey Meet

Congratulations to all on a great Turkey meet. It was awesome to see our swimmers improvement and to see them all get up and race! A special thanks to all of our parents for timing, serving food, and the meet run well. We are so thankful for each and everyone of our COLA families and all that they do for our team!

COLA Has Swimmers off to Sectional and Zone Competitions
COLA wishes to congratulate swimmers as they had off to National Championship Meets! We have three swimmers who have been selected to represent Louisiana at the Southern Zone Championship Meet in Rockwall, Texas. Congratulations to Bella Castille, Anna Buttaci, and Austin McCollough.
Also, congratulations to COLA's Sectional Qualifying athletes who will represent COLA at the Speedo Southern Sectional Swim Meet in The Woodlands Texas. Congratulations to Victoria Barczyk, Meridith Boudreuax, Michelle Billeaud, Andrew Larimer, and Jessica Miller.

Middle School Swimming
Thanks to all for another great 2013 Middle School Swimming Season and a super fun Cinco de Mayo Party! Special Congratulations to our 2013 Middle School Swimming Champions, the AES Gators and our Runner Up Winners the Fatima Warriors! The Gators were also first on the Ladies side followed by the Girls from ASH in 2nd in the girls from SGS in 3rd. On the boys side, the men from LJ Alleman were the winners, followed by the men from OC in 2nd and from Fatima in 3rd.

COLA Construction

We are proud to announce a Big COLA dream coming true with the building of our own pool!!! We broke ground today, Sunday, March 3rd. The pool will be off of Pinhook next to the Barczyk Chiropractic Office. It will be up and running for the summer of 2013! We will still use Earl J Chris as well. The new pool will be used primarily for Swim Lessons and Senior Group Practices. We are excited about our new construction!

COLA_BalhoffCOLA and Balhoff Orthodontics announce new "Smiles for Swimmers" Program! Help support COLA and smile more in return!  With this “Smiles for Swimmers” program, Coach Donald will donate $100 to COLA for every COLA swimmer that starts orthodontic treatment with his office.  COLA swimmers themselves also receive a free initial exam and 5% off of orthodontic treatment!
