Congratulations Meridith Boudreaux Meridith Boudreaux was recently recognized at the Lafayette Public School System 15th Annual Sports Banquet for her All State Achievement. She was one of three seniors recognized for receiving this award all four years of high school. Congratulations Meridith!

COLA's Cinco de Mayo Celebration Come join us for COLA's Cinco de Mayo Celebration after the Middle School Championships on Saturday, May 5th from 2:00-4:30. We are looking forward to a day of COLA family fun with tacos, nachos, face painting, watersides, and more!

Congratulations to COLA Sectional Team on a great meet in Pleasant Prairie Wisconsin. 10 swimmers traveled to Wisconsin representing COLA at the 2012 Speedo Sectional Swim Meet. Congratulations to Victoria Barczyk, Zeke Basco, Liz Billieaud, Meridith Boudreaux, Anna Buttaci, Bella Castille, Rene Guilbeaux, Andrew Larimer, Jessica Miller, and Lee Sammons. Our COLA girls finished 11th out of over 50 teams and the team finished 19th overall. Way to go COLA! COLA Mighty Little Armadillos Rock at 8 and Under Championship Meet COLA had 16 Swimmers travel to New Orleans for the 2012 8 and Under Championship Meet. Not only did we have a blast we had 98% best times! Amazing!!! Our mighty little armadillos finished 5th overall out of over 15 teams! Congratulations to all on a great meet- every swimmer worked together and scored points for our team!!!Great Meet! COLA had over 35 swimmers travel to Sulphur to compete in the Louisiana State Championship Meet. Our swimmers swam great with 94% best times, new cuts being made, great racing, and a 7th place overall finish! We are also very excited to announce that COLA was the winner of the 2012 Spirit and Sportsmanship Award at the meet. This is a huge honor and we are very proud of each and every swimmer and parent for working together to receive this award! COLA District Team Shines Congratulations to COLA's 2012 District Team on a terrific Meet. We had several swimmers who had 100% best times, we some some swimmers make some big improvements and saw some great racing! It was an awesome weekend! Special Congratulations to district winners who will be joining our 2012 State Team!

Liz Billeaud Voted Louisiana 13-18 Female Swimmer of the Year We are proud to announce that COLA Swimmer Liz Billeaud had been voted Louisiana's 2011 13-18 Year Old Female Swimmer of the Year. Congratulations Liz!
Congratulations to Andre Trahan! Recent COLA graduate Andre Trahan competed in his first collegiate meet representing Centenary College of Louisiana. Centenary swam against Stanford University right here in Lafayette! Several COLA swimmers and parents were in attendance to cheer him on. Way to go Andre! Thanks for a Great Special Olympics Meet!!!! COLA recently ran a Special Olympics Meet here in Lafayette at the Earl J. Chris Pool. We would like to congratulate all athletes and coaches on a job well done! All of the swimmers did a great job and we all had a ton of fun! Thanks to all volunteers who came out and helped us work to make the day go so smoothly! Once again, thank you to all for a great day!
