USA Swimming 'Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy'
NOTE: MAAPP "will not apply to Applicable Adults and their interactions with minor athletes unrelated to USA Swimming Activities.
- REQUIRED 'Athlete Protection Training' for Adult (18 and Older) Athletes
- Adult athletes must take THREE Courses: Sexual Misconduct Awareness Education, Mandatory Reporting and Emotional and Physical Misconduct. Upon completion of each course, the athlete will receive a completion certificate. After receiving the certificate, the athlete must complete the survey in order to fully complete the course.

- Mandatory Reporting Rule
- Issues related to Bullying (Peer to Peer & Adult to Peer), Parent Issues, and Violation of Team Rules/Code of Conduct should be directed to the COLA Staff.
- Any issues related to Safe Sport may also be brought to Coach, the Louisiana Swimming Safe Sport Coordinator, to assist with direction and steps needed to be taken.
